BIOGRAPHY:
Louis Bernet was born in Surabaja, Dutch East-Indies on 29th April 1920. In 1941 he started his flying courses on the Fokker F.XIV and Dornier Do 24. After other courses in the United States and Canada he ended up in Great Brittain.
He flew the Lockheed Hudson with No. 320 Squadron and was transferred to No. 2 Group, Bomber Command on 15th March 1943 where he was stationed at the Methwold Station and Attlebridge Station. After this he flew 71 operational sorties with the North American B-25 Mitchell.
