Action:

After forming a bridgehead on 19 May 1941 near Colito, Ethiopia, two companies of The King´s African Rifles met a counter attack by enemy tanks. While he was under heavy enemy fire Sergeant Leaky stormed in the direction of one of the tanks, opened the hatch and managed to put the tank crew out of action. He continued his action by storming at the other tanks and managed to put several of them out of action. During his heroic actions Sergeant Leaky was wounded mortally, but partly thanks to his heroic effort the allies beat off the enemy counterattack.
