Action: On April 6, 1944 Jemadar Abdul got the command to attack an important position with its group at north of Imphal (India). The only way here to come was by means of an open area a steep slope on. Abdul led, in spite of heavy hostile fire, this attack and killed some enemies at this action. During this action he was hit himself also two times, of which the last became fatal. However, he conquered this important position with his group.
Details: Abdul Hafiz is buried at the Imphal Indian Army War Cemetery, India.
