Action: The road between Kamye and Myingyan in Burma was on March 2, 1945 in the hands of the Japanese and was firmly defended. Naik Gian, which had the command of his platoon stormed, already firing with his Tommy-gun, forward in the direction of hostile fox holes. In spite of earlier wounds he continued precede his men in the fight and eliminated a hidden anti tank gun. At last he conquered the enemy positions by this heroic action.
