BIOGRAPHY:
Service number 123391(NCO)/147967(officer).
Following his operation tour with 78 Squadron, Frank Williams was
commissioned and joined 640 Squadron at Leconfield. He failed to return from a bombing raid on Camp Bourg Leopold, when his Halifax aircraft was shot down by an enemy night fighter during an operation to Bourg-Leopold near Antwerp on 28 May 1944. He was 21.
