BIOGRAPHY: 
Hubert Echols Jr. (AKA Junior) served with Company C, 1/134, 35th Infantry Division, until his death sometime after the capture of St. Lo itself after taking a piece of schrapnel to the neck. He participated in the assault on Hill 122 prior to the fall of St. Lo and was last accounted for in the regimental roster of 14th July 1944. He was also posthumosly entitled to the Ditsinguished Unit Citation and Peresidential Unit Citation.
