BIOGRAPHY: 
The homeland where Jozef Klaczka was born and lived was annexed by the German Third Reich in 1939. This menat that Jozef was conscripted for service in the German Army. He was under German Arms from March 29th 1944 until he was made Prisoner of War in France on January 25h 1945. He was transfeerd to the Polish Army Transit Camp "Jolanda" in Italy on June 7th 1945. He volunteered for the Polish Armed Forces under British command and was enlisted on June 18th 1945.
Service number British/Polish Army: 30029253; Pay Roll: 900/K1962/111
In Service with the Polish Forces under British Command from June 18th 1945 until November 6th 1946. He took service with the Polish Resettlement Corps on November 7th 1946 and was honourable discharged on October 7th 1948.
