Action: On 5 March 1945 at Snowdon East near Tamandu, Burma, a section was pinned down by heavy enemy fire including fire from a sniper. After killing the enemy sniper Rifleman Bhanbhag attacked through a hail of fire and put numerous enemies and a machine-gun out of action.
