Action: On February 7, 1941, at Keren in Erythrea Subadar Richhpal led a successful attack on several hostile posts. At the hostile counter-attacks he brought, in the middle of all those attack and risking his own life, several wounded comrades back behind own lines. Five days later, at a new attack on a hostile position, Richhpal became badly wounded; nevertheless he still encouraged his men into battle, just until he died just as a result of his wounds.
