The “Schnellboots-Kriegabzeichen mit Brillianten” has only been award eight times and has been given to the eight holders of the Knights Cross within the S-Boats command; Werner Töniges, Siegfried Wuppermann, Friesrich Kemnade, Georg Christiansen, Bernd-Georg Klug, Klaus Feldt, Rudolf Petersen and Götz Freiherr von Mirbach.
The known examples of this variation were all made of solid Silver (.935) en partly Gilded. In the Swastika a total of nine diamonds were imbedded. The design is the same as Modell.2 and it measures 57.95 mm high, 50.85 mm width and has a weight of 40.3 gram. The eagles width is 32.75mm. It may be noted that this award is very rare.
